Mount Mitchell State Park was the 34th North Carolina State Park we visited on our journey to visit all 41 parks in the state. We visited in late October 2019. Super foggy day so we couldn't see very much as far the views BUT it was still a really cool experience for the kids. We did the short trek to the top and a couple other little trails, as well as the token trip to the visitor center. We've been here a few times and will be back again. A staple trip if you are in this part of North Carolina.
