Mount Jefferson State Park was the 28th North Carolina State Park we visited on our journey to visit all 41 parks in the state. We visited in late June 2019. Visitor center was closed at the time, but we were able to get the stamp in the box outside the ranger's office. We took the kids on a short hike. Found a couple spots where you could see through the foliage and catch those amazing views. Neat park - definitely want to spend more time hiking the trails in the future. There is a scenic overlook on the way out with stunning views. Great spot for a photo 🙂
